Cloacina was founded in 2007 when the owners were serving on the management team of a wastewater operations and maintenance company. The number of local wineries grew substantially and regional water and wastewater regulations tightened. Cloacina’s owners were installing, operating and maintaining competitors’ wastewater treatment systems and saw the need for higher quality plants for the wine industry.
